What is a titanium anode?

Titanium anode refers to an anode made of titanium material. The anode is the positive electrode in the electrochemical reaction, which absorbs electrons and undergoes an oxidation reaction during the electrolysis process. Titanium anodes are made of pure titanium or titanium alloys, usually with a specific shape and surface treatment.

Titanium anodes are widely used in water treatment and other electrochemical processes. They possess many beneficial properties, such as excellent corrosion resistance, low electrolytic potential, high electrochemical efficiency, and low release of metal ions. These properties make titanium anodes ideal for treating corrosive media, treating wastewater and purifying water.

Titanium anodes can be in different forms, such as plate, wire, tube, etc., to suit different application requirements. In addition, titanium anodes often require surface treatments, such as titanium anode coating or oxidation, to enhance their performance and stability.

Due to its superior performance and long life, titanium anodes are widely used in water treatment, metal plating, electrolytic cells, and other electrochemical applications.
