Why does soda ash tend to agglomerate and is it difficult to achieve fully automatic packaging? It can be divided into three reasons.
- High dust content: The production process of soda ash generates a large amount of dust, and these fine particles are prone to airborne dispersion and aggregation during the packaging process. This can hinder the operation of packaging machinery. The dust can also accumulate on the surfaces of the machinery and conveyor belts, increasing the risk of equipment failures and maintenance costs.
- Incomplete gas-liquid separation: During the production of soda ash, residual gas, and water vapor may be present in the product. These residues can lead to the accumulation or sticking together of soda ash particles during the packaging process, making it difficult for soda ash to pass smoothly through automatic packaging machines.
- Inadequate material and design of traditional flaker machines: Traditional flaker machines often use soft materials such as pure nickel for the rotating drum. Over time, the drum can deform, resulting in poor alignment between the scraping blades and the drum. Manual adjustment of the scraping blades makes it challenging to maintain precise control over the gap between the edges and the drum. As a result, the cooperation between the drum and the blades deteriorates, exacerbating the agglomeration issues of soda ash.
To address these problems, we have developed an intelligent flaker machine. The flaker utilizes advanced materials and design to enhance its stability and durability. It features an automated system to adjust the gap between the scraping blades and the rotating drum based on the drum’s deformation. This ensures better alignment between the edges and the drum, reducing the occurrence of blade-induced abrasion and minimizing soda ash agglomeration.
The introduction of intelligent flaker machines can mitigate the agglomeration issues of soda ash, improve the automation level of packaging, reduce manual intervention, and enhance production efficiency and product quality.
