Equipment Name: Molten Salt Pump 200FYG-35 2JM
Type:Vertical submerged pump
Media:Molten salt (Ternary Salt)
Pump Parameters: Flow rate 250m3/h, Head 75m
Lubrication Method: Thin oil lubrication (immersion type)
K Design Temperature: ≤475°C
During the initial start-up, the molten salt is injected into the molten salt storage tank all at once, melted with high-pressure steam, then pumped to the molten salt heater for heating. After reaching a heating temperature of 430±3°C, it is transferred to the final concentrator. Some of the molten salt is transported by molten salt pumps to the flash evaporator tank, alkali liquor distribution tank, and 98.6% molten alkali downstream pipeline for its thermal companion usage before flowing back into the molten salt storage tank. It is then pumped back to the molten salt heater for heating, repeating the cycle.

High-temperature
High-temperature molten salt pump (molten salt circulation pump), is a vertical submersible pump, mainly used for conveying high-temperature heat transfer medium (nitrate) in caustic soda flakes. The pump material is made of high-temperature resistant alloy steel and undergoes special heat treatment to ensure the stability of the material when operating at high temperatures. Due to the operating characteristics of the transmission equipment, centrifugal force increases the pressure of the conveyed liquid, thereby forming a steady and pulsation-free flow in the pipeline system. The inlet and outlet pipelines of the pump should be carefully designed to facilitate operation and maintenance, while also ensuring that the inlet and outlet pipe racks of the pump are in a stress-free or low-stress state to ensure the smooth operation of the pump. Although the outlet pipeline of the pump does not affect the performance of the pump like the inlet pipeline, the pressure drop and thermal stress of the pipeline system still need to be carefully considered.
