Only under pressure-limited conditions, the tubular heat exchanger has a higher pressure-bearing capacity than the plate-type heat exchanger. Plate heat exchangers are suitable for medium and low pressure conditions.

In addition to the pressure bearing capacity, the shell and tube heat exchanger will not easily cause blockage for the heat exchange medium containing more impurities, and the maintenance cycle is longer than that of the plate exchange. This is also the reason why customers choose to use tubular heat exchangers.
